Candidates whose name appears in the list or has received the invitation letter should appear before the interview boards at ARIES provided they fulfill the following criteria: 1. M. Sc. Physics/Astrophysics with minimum 55% for General/OBC and 50% for SC/ST 2. JEST-2011 qualified or CSIR-NET (JRF/LS) qualified in Physics (December 2009, June 2010, December 2010)or GATE - 2011/2010 qualified in Physics 3. The candidate should pass M. Sc. on or after 2008. 4. Maximum age on August 1, 2011 should not be more than 28 years. 5. Students who are appearing in M. Sc. final year exam can appear before the interview, but, if selected have to furnish the proof of M. Sc. qualification (with minimum marks 55% for General/OBC and 50% for SC/ST) before joining as JRF at ARIES. Those who meet the qualifications mentioned above, can appear in the interview and are entitled for sleeper class/bus TA (shortest route) after furnishing their tickets. B. Sc and/or M. Sc (Physics 1st year) students do not qualify for the interview, and hence are not entitled for any TA. |
