Abstract : | The concept of "boundary layer" is probably as old as more than a century, but its applications are well recognized even before a systematic evolution of the physical science. Physically, a thin layer between a solid (or a liquid) and a liquid attains the characteristics of a well-defined "boundary layer", subject to a few known characteristics. In the present talk, I will be providing a summary on the SAGA OF THE ATMOSPHERIC BOUNDARY LAYER EVOLUTION STUDIES and cover up few important definitions, their meanings and applications in the atmospheric sciences.
