List of YSA Awardees for URSI-RCRS(2024)

Young Scientist Award (YSA)

The The Young Scientist Award (YSA) of the 2024 URSI Regional Conference on Radio Science (URSI-RCRS 2024) is open for applications. To qualify applications for the YSA, the applicant must be:
  1. Less than 35 years of age as of 22 October 2024
  2. The principal author of a paper submitted and accepted for oral or poster presentation at a regular session of URSI-RCRS 2024
Applicants from India or any other country, including regions that do not (yet) belong to URSI, are welcome. Applications should be completed electronically on the URSI-RCRS 2024 conference website by the deadline of 9 July 2024 (Tuesday). Every YSA applicant must submit the following documents in PDF format, through the Paper submission webpage:
  1. Summary paper (4 pages) in IEEE Format
  2. Full CV
  3. Complete List of Publications separately mentioning Journals & Conference Proceedings
The URSI-RCRS 2024 Young Scientist and Student Program (YSSP) Committee will peer-review the applications and select the awardees. The YSSP Committee will notify all the applicants of the review results by email on 20 August 2024. Within three days of notification, every YSA awardee must confirm that he/she will attend URSI-RCRS 2024. By 1 September 2024, the list of the YSA awardees will be announced on the URSI-RCRS 2024 website. The YSA awardees will receive
  1. Free conference registration
  2. Free accommodation covering the entire conference duration
Please note that basic accommodation will be provided by the URSI-RCRS 2024 organizers. In case the YSA awardees arrange for alternative accommodation, they must bear the entire expenses on their own with a reimbursement of up to Rs 5000 for the entire duration.
The YSA awardees will be required to attend the official Conference Banquet, where the awards will be presented. All the YSA awardees are also required to attend the URSI-RCRS 2024 Student Paper Competition (SPC) Special Session, where they will be asked to contribute to the evaluations of the presentations by the SPC finalists
