Young Astronomers' Meet 2022
9th-13th November, ARIES, Nainital, India
About the Meeting
Young Astronomers' Meet is an annual gathering of Ph.D. students working on astronomy and astrophysics at various institutes and universities around the country. YAM has been a popular event ever since its inaugural edition, which took place at IUCAA/NCRA Pune 30 years ago. Unfortunately, YAM could not be organised in the previous two years (2020 and 2021) due to COVID-related restrictions. We are pleased to announce that the Aryabhatta Research Institute of observational sciencES (ARIES), located near the picturesque hill city of Nainital, will host the 2022 edition of YAM. You are cordially invited to participate in YAM-2022. The event will be for 5 days (9-13 November 2022), with the conference taking up 4 of those days, and one day for a visit to the Devasthal observatory, which contains Asia's largest telescopes: the 3.6m DOT and the 4m ILMT.
