Outreach Activities
At our institute, astronomy outreach is a critical component of our research mission. We understand that the pursuit of scientific knowledge is not only for the academic community but also for the public at large. By engaging with the public, especially school students through a variety of events and programs, we aim to inspire and educate individuals about the wonders of the universe. Our outreach efforts include stargazing events, hands-on observing sessions, and educational programs for people of all ages. We often visit nearby schools for conducting outreach events. Through these initiatives, we not only foster a love of astronomy but also promote scientific literacy and critical thinking skills. Additionally, our outreach efforts serve to strengthen our ties with the community and build collaborative partnerships. With the rapidly growing interest in space exploration and the demand for scientific literacy, we remain committed to our goal of making astronomy accessible and engaging for all.
During this conference, we have plans for plenty of outreach activities, which include popular talks, and hands-on sessions for Solar, and night sky watching at various schools near the conference venue. Please have a look at the posters below and the program schedule for further information about the outreach activities during BINA 2023.
