"Active Galactic Nuclei" generally refers to the presence of high activity at the center of a galaxy. They are one of the representatives of very energetic and enigmatic objects of the universe. With a Luminosity of 1040 erg s−1 for some nearby galaxies and 1046 erg s−1 for distant AGNs, they qualify as one of the brightest objects in the Universe. "Dusty Torus" is one of the important components of an AGN, which separates Type 1 from Type 2 AGN based on orientational effects. My research interests include investigating the structure of this toroidal structure and studying various aspects of it.
