Academic Background

I am a third-year PhD student (Senior Research Fellow) at ARIES, Nainital, working under the ISRO RESPOND programme, and affiliated with IIT Roorkee. My research focuses on the energetics and dynamics of solar eruptions, using multi-instrument observations.

Research Interest and Description

My research focuses on the energetics and coupled dynamics of solar eruptive phenomena - primarily solar flares and coronal jets across a range of spatial and temporal scales. Using coordinated multi-instrument observations from missions such as SDO, IRIS, Hinode, Solar Orbiter, and Aditya-L1, I combine imaging, spectroscopic diagnostics, and magnetic field extrapolation to probe the thermal, kinematic, and magnetic signatures of these eruptions. I am particularly interested in understanding their role in coronal heating and mass loading of the solar wind, with broader implications for space weather forecasting.
