Applications are invited from eligible and motivated candidates for the position of Project Associate to work on a software/web application development project. 

The qualification and experience with remunerations, upper age limit and other guidelines shall be as per DST Norms: (OM No. SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated 10 July 2020) defined for Project Associate-I and Project Associate-II as applicable.

• Project Associate (Python/Django)

• Number of Positions: 01 (One)

• Duration: Initially for 1 year (extendable based on performance and project requirement)

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering or equivalent.

• Strong proficiency in Python programming.

• Hands-on experience with Django framework.

• Good understanding of:

  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript

  • REST APIs

  • Database systems (PostgreSQL/MySQL)

• Experience with Linux environment is desirable.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in:

  • Django  Framework

  • CSS,JavaScript,REST

  • Version control systems (Git)

• Familiarity with real-time data handling and dashboards will be an added advantage.

Nature of Work

• Development and maintenance of web-based applications.

• Backend development using Python/Django.

• Database design, integration, and optimization.

• Coordination with other entities for requirement analysis and implementation.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Tenure: Initially for One (01) year (extendable based on performance and project requirement).
2.  Monthly Emolument: Based on the relevant work experience and the interview performance, the candidate may be offered Project Associate-I,                      Project Associate- II  The details of these posts are:

     3. Termination: Director ARIES reserves the right to terminate the engagement/contract at any stage in case of impropriety, misconduct, breach of conditions, irregular attendance, or poor performance quality.
    4. Posting: The selected candidate will be posted at ARIES, Nainital campus.
    5. All other Terms & conditions shall be governed as per the Institute norms.

The interview will be held on 22nd January 2026 from 10:00 AM onwards.
