Abstract
High-resolution observations and advances in theory and computation have together made possible amazing inferences about the interiors of the Sun and stars. My group focuses on developing seismic techniques to build 3D images of fluid turbulence in the Sun and appreciating the composition and rotation of distant stars. I will describe our contributions to these areas and outline an agenda to apply machine learning to enable the study of vast numbers of stars.
