  1. Job responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be involved in:

  1. Design, development, and technical implementation of the LAWP system.
  2. System integration, testing, and performance evaluation of various subsystems at the vendor’s site.
  3. FAT, installation, SAT, technical/scientific validation, and commissioning of the LAWP system.
  4. Coordination with vendors and technical agencies, and support for operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of LAWP and ASTRAD facilities.
  5. Project documentation, technical reporting, and other project-related activities assigned by the Project In-Charge.
  1. Essential Qualification: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) or equivalent from a recognised University.

  1. Experience:

Two years of experience in Industrial or Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations in the field of Electronics, RF/Microwave Engineering, Radar Systems, Communication Systems or related areas.

  1. Upper Age Limit: 50 Years
  1. Other Conditions
  1. The appointments shall be purely temporary, contractual, and may be co-terminus with the LAWP project, with no right to permanent employment at ARIES. The initial appointment shall be for one year and may be extended for another two years, subject to satisfactory performance and project requirements.
  2. The selected candidates may be posted at ARIES, Manora Peak, the LAWP installation site, or any other ARIES station(Devasthal/Haldwani). They may also be required to travel for project-related activities.
  3. The selected personnel shall primarily work for the LAWP project and may also be assigned related activities of the ASTRAD/ST Radar facility.
  4. The candidates may be required to undertake fieldwork and work beyond normal hours during testing, installation, commissioning, maintenance, observational campaigns, and other project activities.
  5. Service conditions shall be governed by ARIES rules.
  6. The Director, ARIES, reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process, change the number of positions, or terminate appointments as per applicable rules.
  7. Candidates are required to bring original documents and one set of photocopies (self-attested) of their educational qualifications and experience, along with one passport-size photograph. Failing it, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the interview.
  8. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

    1. Rs. 42,000 + HRA (with valid GATE/CSIR-UGC NET qualification)
    2. Rs. 33,000 + HRA (without GATE/CSIR-UGC NET)
