Walk-in interview for hiring of one Finance and Accounts Manager purely on contractual basis for the period of 01 years (which is extendable as per the requirement of the Institute) is to be held in ARIES, Manora Peak Nainital on 4thJuly, 2024 from 10:00 am onwards as per the details given below:-

1. Essential Qualifications for the Post of Finance and Accounts Manager

  1. Qualified CA/M.Com., having 3 years’ experience or Graduate in Commerce from recognized university having 5 years’ experience. However, preference may be given to those having higher qualification in Commerce and Accounts.
  2. The applicant should have experience of handling accounts and finance as per Govt. norms.
  3. The applicant must be able to work in MS Word, MS Excel and Tally and should be proficient in noting, drafting and examining of file. The applicant must have knowledge of Traces, Income Tax and GST online work.
  4. The applicant should be well acquainted with the law of Direct Tax (Income Tax) and Indirect Tax (GST, VAT, services Tax) etc.
  5. The applicant should be well acquainted with filing of monthly/quarterly and annually TDS return, Income Tax return, generation of Form 16 and Form 16A from TRACES.
  6. The applicant should be well acquainted with the functioning of Central/State/Govt. Ministries/ PSUs/ autonomous organizations etc.
  7. Knowledge of GFR 2017 and knowledge of government accounting and TALLY Software.

Desirable Qualifications: Experience of working in the Finance and Accounts Department of Central/State Govt./ PSU/Universities/ Research Institutions etc.

Selection Process

Eligible candidates are required to report for the Interview on 4th July, 2024 for the post mentioned above from 10:00 am onwards. Candidates reporting after 10:00 A.M will not be entertained. The eligible candidates may appear before the Selection Committee for interview on the date and time mentioned above at Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences, ARIES, Manora Peak Nainital. Eligible candidates must bring with them a duly filled application & undertaking (which can be downloaded from our website www.aries.res.in) with original &self-attested copies of mark sheets/certificates etc. along with a recent passport size photograph. Tentative mark sheets/certificates and ‘result awaited’ will not be considered.

General Condition:-

  1. Age relaxation if any, will be as per Govt. of India/Funding Agency Guidelines.
  2. Suitable Candidates may be empanelled for future requirement if any.
  3. The date for determining age/qualification and experience shall be the date of interview.
  4. The above positions are purely temporary. The engagement in these posts will not confer any right implicit or explicit on the candidate for consideration for regularization against any ARIES post(s).
  5. The Director, ARIES has discretion to increase or decrease the number of positions or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
  6. Interim queries will not be entertained.
  • No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview

Note:- Candidates who fulfils the requisite qualification and age will be allowed to appear before the Selection Committee for interview. Written test in the subject area will be held, if required, to shortlist candidates for the interview on the same day depending upon the number of candidates. The interview may be continued for the subsequent days also, therefore candidates coming from outstations are requested to make their own arrangements accordingly.
